49. Bicycles on trains
Visited Fukushima Art Museum. Nearest station is the second stop of Iizaka Line from Fukushima Station
To my astonishment, the train allows passengers to bring in their bicyles.

48. The day after typhoon
Three P3C Orions in formation, rare practice. Probably for preparation for the air show scheduled at the end of this month.
Above Funato bridge, the east edge of Shimousa control range.
A municipal police helicopter was flying below the 3 aircraft.

47. Epsilon rocket launch public viewing
Though I thought the so-called public viewing is in soccer domain, it valids also for rocket launching.
At a local movie theater, free of charge. About 100 adults and children attended.
Though the children shouted - -, 10, 9, 8, - - - in concert with the net broadcast, the launch aborted, as for today.
In any event, the times have changed.

46. Acorns
Konara oaks at a nearby park already have born many acorns.
Underneath we see sprouts from the acorns of last year here and there.

45. MOMAT
Visited MOMAT (museum of modern art, Tokyo). The shots are from "a room with nice views" on its 2nd floor.
The left is for the direction to the meteorological agency. The right to one of the gates of the Imperial Palace.
Chinese characters for the gate name look to suggest pronouncing "kita kikyou mon". but in reality it reads "kita hane hasi", meaning "north drawbridge". It is said the gate had a small drawbridge.
The central keep of Edo castle was located just behind the gate.

44. Inba Marsh in August
The sky without thunders after a long spell of unstable weathers.
High humidity but pleasant breezes.

17. Visit monument to 3 mountain shrines in Dewa
Monuments for visits to sacred 3 mountain shrines in Dewa are seen in many places aroud here.
Some are from Edo period. The latest ones in the current Heisei time are usually made of large black granites exceeding human heights with mirror-finished surfaces, making it difficult to take good pictures.
The photos are for those of Bunkyu and Meiji eras.

43. Attendants to morning exercise
The photos were taken just after childrens' gymnastics exercise on radio early morning.
These two also attended. No one seemd to have noticed.

42. Shimousa Airbase
Went to "Summer festival" of JMSDF Shimousa.
After seeing childrens' soccer games, we got an opportunity to see inside a hangar and control tower.
There parked about 10 P3C Orion which we frequently see flying our area.
The Tokyo Skytree can be well seen from the old-fashioned control tower.
A new control tower is under construction.

41. Mugiwara tonbo dragonfly
Appeared during working at our yard.
This one comes from time to time.
In our childhood, this species was ubiquitous.

40. Guinness world records
A large notice about Guinness world records was shown at a nearby shopping mall.
What kind of record? It turned out that the registration was for the largest rice cracker produced by a local group.
The certificate reads - - - The largest rice cracker - - - .
